Poider
Just out of curiosity, this shot was taken just north of Adelaide airport, and I look at the creek that runs through the middle of the factories etc, is this just the way FTX and FSX mix, or am I not configured correctly, have I put things in the wrong order? Ian Routley
Poider, You are looking at vector scenery interposed with 'landclass' textures. You can think of it this way ... the landclass is a generic set of textures / autogen that represents the 'type' of land-use that is present in the area. It is not a representation of each building or street. The 'vector' elements (in this case roads and rivers) are based on actual GIS and handcrafted data to place the rivers as they actually appear. It is not always realistic, as observed in your screenshot, but that is the way the FSX scenery engine works. The effect is less stark if you are using higher autogen settings, in my opinion.
