tintin007b Posted March 11, 2013 Share Posted March 11, 2013 After installing Wales, every time I try to start from Cardiff's airport or Bristol airport, FSX stops loading at 27% with FTX Central on Europe. I am at a loss. I meant that I have restored FSX from a backup dating from slightly before I installed EU England. Then installed England with no issues. Followed then by an install of Wales and the original problem reemerges i.e. when going to any place in Wales, FSX loads up to 27% and then stops. Any help is more than welcome! Installing FTX Wales, problem 1 the install stops at E:\ Program Files (x86)\...\028b2fa6.bmp. Reinstalling, install finishes. Now impossible to start from Birmingham, Gloucester, Bristol etc, loading stops at 27%! This is a challenge, this problem never occurred with any of the other FTX regions. Can you check what free space you have on the E drive. 2. tell me how many files and size are the 4 WLS folders located here"fsx\ORBX\FTX_EU\" 3. can you load up at EGCB Manchester (barton) airport with FTX Central set to Europe? 3a. if yes to 3 can you then fly into FTX Wales? 3b. if yes to 3a do the textures look right? tintin007b Posted March 23, 2013 Author Share Posted March 23, 2013 Hi Paul, I figured out the issue, I have a program called "addon converter X" that allows me to use some FS 9 planes and sceneries. The program basically converts textures to dds format to be used by DX 10. For some reason the Wales region was activated. Deactivating resolved the issue. Thank you so much for your help!
