johnwillimas
I've got an odd problem with Wales... at EGOD (Llanbedr) I've noticed that the approach lights seem to give a cone effect - it looks like a visible version of an IFR beam - an excellent navaid but not intended, I think! See the following picture....
johnwillimas
Actually appears to originate west of the 16/34 runway. Possibly relates to the UK2000 EGOD I'll try this again with EK2000 volume 2 disabled.
johnwillimas
Hmm, no it doesn't seem to be that. I've disabled UK2000 volume 2 and the effect is still there...
Paul Webster
Hi, I have just tested this and can't reproduce it. I have a feeling its something to do with UK2000, could you get a close up of where the beam starts please so i can see what object it is. johnwillimas
Here's two more pics one, as requested, gets closer. You can see where the two cones start. This second shows another feature of the problem. There's a sort of green line that seems to give a left hand circuit from runway 34 circuit at around 1200 feet. It can only be seen from above. From below it disappears... I'll try removing the UK2000 files related to EGOD....
Paul Webster
That looks very much like the uk2000 airport i can see there, disable it and your problem should go away. Paul
johnwillimas
I'd tried disabling the UK2000 files and that didn't appear to be it. I did, however, find another EGOD.bgl file in my add-on scenery/scenery folder and disabling that one has got rid of the effect. Sorry, it was obviously my own problem and nothing to do with either ORB-X or UK2000! Thanks for your efforts, though.
Paul Webster
Glad you found what was causing the error, enjoy Wales. Paul
