Divot
Thinking about getting some GoFlight modules as a XMas pressie to myself - anyone else here use them, and if so, which ones?
tennyson
Check the prices first, mate. I'm after a go flight 737 MCP and a few months ago you could get one for about 550-600 oz but with the falling dollar the same unit yesterday was 750 bucks! I'm no tight wad but I'm gonna hang off till the dollar strengthens, Frank
GL_FSX
Hello from Berlin, I just wanted to let you know, that I´m using three modules (GF T8, GF P8, GF LGT) for quite a while - and - I´m totally satisfied. They´re pretty much plug and play ( once you use the correct GoFlight® Module Support Software & I´m using the FSX only Version 1.72 7 27 Feb. 2007). Simply run this software and it automatically recognizes ervery module plugged in. Configuration is self explanatory. One thing - if you´re using many modules, you may opt for / need a powered USB hub .. just in case. Have a great time
An-225
I have the GoFlight TQ6 Throttle Quadrant. As GL_FSX has said, they are basically plug and play, you just have to configure it in their software. The Throttle Quadrant is more realistic than the CH one, at least for a large jet, and it is still general enough to represent any type of plane. Nothing more rewarding than pulling down on the reverse thrust after an ILS approach.
Milamber
Using: 1 off SECM - Single Engine Control Unit. 2 off GF 166 - Com/Nav 1 & 2 Radios. 1 off RP 48 - Switches and Rotary Potentiometers. 1 off GF 46 - Multi Function Display Panel. 1 off GF LGT - Landing Gear, Flaps and Elevator Trim Wheel. in a 7 unit high rack which is full. and 1 off GF MCP, full autopilot unit in a 2 high rack which is also full. Wouldn't fly without them. Radio Modules are particularly useful under Vatsim. Maurice.
Andrew D
Is the throttle quadrant compatible with FSX? Andrew
An-225
Yep, it sure is. I'm pretty sure everything is compatible with FSX, but the throttle definately is.
