I have the same annoying niggle that alot of people have in as much as you start directly into the sim, on the runway. I noticed the FSX-Go product and I thought it would be great if the product could be updated so that you had a more conventional flight selection menu. I see that it can lauch the sim from saved flights, but perhaps it could take your flight selections(vis a vis plane, location, weather, time etc...) and then create a saved game and launch from that.
