simulatorflyer
So there I was scrolling around in Google Earth trying to decide where my next leg would take me from Glenorchy when I suddenly moused over a few pictures just north of Glenorchy named "Lord of the rings country" - "Fanghorn forest" - "Location for Isengard" etc. Wow! I didn't realise I was this close to Middle Earth. So I immediately decided to take a flight around this area: Past Mount Alfred, up Dart Valley around Mount Earnslaw and Headlong Peak, and down south again through Rees valley back to Glenorchy. Another super flight! Will post more pictures of the leg soon, but right now my wife keeps calling "time to go to bed." What's a man to do?
