franck66
it's quite tricky, to stay on the runway If you use SE5 you must use a grass runway (there is no tailwheel)
skeleton
If you use SE5 you must use a grass runway (there is no tailwheel) Oh, I did not get that. However, it's still difficult to hit the runway (with the A2A Piper and more than 10kn cross winds (I have made my experiences ))
CathyH
IMHO, The SE5 in both the Hisso 2 Blade (Illlustrated here) ant the Viper 4 blade was the finest Allied fighter of WW1. An extremley stable gun platform, easy to fly and with good response, she served--along with the Bristol Fighterm well inot peace. equipping the RAF until the first Radila fighters came inot service. The last Bristol fighters were only retired from frontline service in 1938 by the RNZAF!
