brendanstacey
Guys I was reading this - http://www.guru3d.com/article/physx-by-nvidia-review/ and according to the article, FSX should get a nice FPS boost as it is CPU bound. However I'm not to sure whether I'm right or not. Does anyone have a better idea of how this will affect FSX?
Ian Routley
Sadly I don't think there is any use of the CUDA or PhysX either incorporated or planned for FSX. I seem to remember a Phil Taylor blog about this a while ago. Shame for both parties though, because I'm sure FSX would be a killer app for PhysX and have a major impact on sales. brendanstacey
Well, from my understanding, games dont have to be optimised like GRAW 2 to take advantage. I thought just because load is taken off the CPU that games would run marginally faster. For example, early users with a 9 series + card have reported higher 3DMark scores, and I dont think it was optimised for CUDA.
