This is widely known as a "false positive"

They are common, and usually represent a mistake made by the antivirus company when registering virus signatures ... so possibly more of a Symantec support topic than an ORBX one!

Always turn your antivirus off when installing trusted installers to prevent these sorts of things from happening.

after a little more fiddling with the anti virus I was able to get norton fully disabled and able to install kcmw

even though this never happened before I will take your advice and turn of norton whenever installing orbx products. thank you for the advice
