HercFan
''Ladies and gentlemen, we are about to begin our descent to Missoula. We are expecting a bit of rough patches as we cross the mountains before lining up for our approach to runway 11. So if you would please fasten your seat belts, we will do our best to keep things as smooth as possible."

HercFan
Thanks guys! That was real time / real weather (as ALWAYS). No diversion needed at all. Flew my flight plan as filed, and followed the RNAV Y approach to RWY 11. Must admit it had been awhile since I flew in those conditions, but it was great practice. And as expected (as in my last shot) the weather cleared in the valley in final to Missoula. A splendid way to spend 55 minutes it was. Flight had started at Glacier Peak International.
