Mithrin
Thanks for this gem Bill and team. What a neat place to fly into. I decided to come in high over the mountains this time. Makes for a whole other approach. A few minutes out of Forks, Queets river running to the left of the pic. Turning towards the mountains, about to overfly Quinault Lake. Quinault river fork up ahead. Sun straight in the face when I prepare to turn South again. O'Neil and Bumbershoot peak up ahead. Lots of soup as I climb over the ridge. Somewhere below there is Bear Gulch. The clouds give way and there she is! Weather isn't all that bad for Washington State as I descent over the lake. Turning final. A bit low and fast but I'll manage. Better than low and slow.
