alexf
I went to the beach for some pelican shots (as I usually do), and heard the roar of her coming out of Opa-Locka. Was kind of far so it has a crop, therefore the low-quality. Best I could do from my position and lens.Hope you like. These are two different shots a few seconds apart. alexf
Thanks. I normally don't post photos here as most of my work is wildlife and street photography, but I do enjoy plane spotting once in a while, even if it is accidental as in this case. jtwillia
Beautiful Plane. Would really like to see A2A work their Accusim magic on this bird.
fs4
Very nice shots. I'm surprised at the steep climb attitude. The old commercial pistons that I recall were typically very flat in their rate of climb, even resorting to "steps and stairs" when heavily loaded. I remember being blown away by the rate of climb of the first jet I saw, a Comet 4 as it happens (beautiful plane, as were so many of the British desings, culminating in the perfection of the Super VC10). alexf
Beautiful bird, crisp photo. Thanks. It is a beautiful bird. But crisp photo? Not by a mile! It is actually a sucky one, hence the disclaimer that it was far and has a decent crop. I can show you crisp photos. These ones aren't.
