Patrick Scharnowski
Can't help it! I hope this is okay, even though you don't see anything of the nearby Tasmania scenery.

Guest Northwest Pilot
Looks like great fun! I wonder how long it will be before they release the P51? *Sigh* \ Great set of shots Patrick!
Patrick Scharnowski
Looks like great fun! I wonder how long it will be before they release the P51? *Sigh* \ I heard they plan to release a Spitfire MkV as an update first. But they have more people working in teams now, so it won't delay the P-51.

Nyxx
Patrick, I have a confession to make. I loved your penultimate shot so much I made my new Sig from it, hope you don't mind? This A2A spit has taken flying within FSX to a new level for me.

Nyxx
nice set, just noticed on your paint your missing gun ports Its the ES that comes with it, I think it's red tape, taped over the holes, if you look carfully you can "see" the holes under the tape. Nyxx
I think its a layer in PS that needs making visable or the holes look open.
Patrick Scharnowski
Thanks! You've got perfect cloud settings there, what're you using? That's the Cumulus 49 HD set (REX of course). I loved your penultimate shot so much I made my new Sig from it, hope you don't mind? Not at all. I'm glad you like it that much. ust noticed on your paint your missing gun ports Its the ES that comes with it, I think it's red tape, taped over the holes, if you look carfully you can "see" the holes under the tape. That's right. That's an A2A paint and the gunports are supposed to look like that.
alehead
With respect to the gun ports on the Spitfires, assuming you didn't know this already of course... They were taped over when the guns were reloaded. On returning to base the ground crews were able to recognize immediately if the guns had been discharged (read: fired), thus requiring reloading... I wonder if and how much of an aerodynamic improvement there was by taping over the holes... By the way, great looking set there... how much of an additional hit are the HD clouds?
