My new Wildcat

Just picked up the JustFlight Wildcat to complement my beloved Vertigo Hellcat. Although the VC pales in comparison to the Hellcat, the external model is fairly good, with some outstanding details. The relative lack of power compared to Hellcat is readily apparent, although landing speeds seem to be higher in the Wildcat.

Check out the cylinder head details and the pilot. Nothing lke pretty air-cooled cylinder heads on a hot rod!

The Wildcat proved immeasurably superior to the Zero is the most important metric: pilot attrition. With the Hellcat, the Zero didn't stand a chance at all.
