Hotspot
I am thinking of setting up three monitors using matrox triple head to go! Would this have any impact on performance?? Hi micgrech, I ran a digital TH2Go on an E6600 (2.4) and an 8800GTX with no significant performance hit, and eventually upgraded to an E8600 and GTX280, same same. On going to W7 OS with an 17 975X @ 4.2, the GTX280 still performed well with the TH2Go, but due to some issues (like not being able to use saved flights) which some I could work around and others I couldn't, which I put down to a driver incompatability, and having no success in upgrading to later drivers, both in Matrox and nVidia, the tech side got a bit beyond me and I solved the issue by fitting two GTX460's and going 'surround' - which is much better for me, the GTX 460 performing smoother with better frame rates than the GTX280. Of course the TH2Go now gathers dust, but I guess that's life as technology changes.
micgrech
Thanks Bill! Is your matrox unit up for grabs by any chance? If so PM your price! Cheers
