Well im thinking of getting a new case soon and came across this one, I was looking at the same case without the water cooling but just wanted a bit of advice im in two minds over the water cooled case because im getting good temps now and i think it will only come down another 5 degrees with the full water system and dont know if its really worth me spending a lot more money on it, The extra money could go towards a 980x which i think is a better idea oh i dont know im forever chasing the dream i guess ::)

cheers

My $.02.......get the 980x.....and get this cooler http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608018  ..if you don't have a full tower get one (I assume you do).

This cooler beat all water cooling system but the custom made one, by custom made I mean you buy all the best part available, the best CPU block, the best radiator +++. so we are talking about $1,000.00 + on parts (assuming you are doing the GPU to).

Here is a review on the new corsair H70 against the NH D14 with an overclocked i7 970 @ 4.53GHz...the NH is still the king of the road......not by much but still....now they added a third fan on the NH and the temp went down again.....

http://www.kitguru.net/components/cooling/zardon/corsair-h70-review-versus-vantage-nh-d14-4-53ghz/4/

The other BIG advantage the NH has over the watercooling is noice....belive it or not the NH is quieter than a custom built water cooling...

Here is another review on it, the guy had watercooling before testing the NH and he is using the NH now for all his testing..... listen to the vid. at the end.....

http://www.overclock3d.net/reviews/cases_cooling/noctua_nh-d14_review/4

Unless you go all in like N058BM  did with his rig..... $900.00 +....buy the NH D14

Now a watercooling set up look cool and impressive but this Noctua cooler is the best of the best and it's $89.99 here....

A custom water cooling cools definitely better than any air cooler.

Like Heiko is saying you need a 1/2 tubing and a bigger pump a 655.

But if you take your GTX480 in the waterloop the temps drop by half over air cooling.

Here you find a example of my rig (parts list) http://orbxsystems.com/forums/index.php?topic=24646.60

Yes Alain a N cools better than the H70.

Ok a H70 is liquid cooling at its worst.

Where do you get the 1000 + price tag for a custom made cooling???????????

Hi! Grtz.....remember I'm talking about the best custom stuff about water cooling....here is some hardware...

Iwaki MD-20 Aquarium Water pump - Based off of the certain calculations this pump offers better performance than any pump in the world. It is designed for fish tanks but has been widely adopted by the pc community due to its low heat output of 14.5-20 watts, whilst still being more powerful than 2 Laing D5s put together. The ultimate pump for the experts.

http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=26144      $139.00 > $229.95

Thermocill PA - It's the best radiator out atm. It cools very well and isn't too restrictive. Get the largest one you can fit in you case, with suitable fans to accompany it. It works amazingly with high cfm fans, but even with quiet fans it's still the best radiator out.  Add the fan + $$$

http://www.mountainmods.com/black-ice-gtx-560-p-580.html    $185.99

CPU block

http://www.swiftnets.com/    APOGEEâ„¢ GTZ  $89.95

Water colled PSU

http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=59_319    $499.95

Reservoir...

http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=59_318_708&products_id=27766

$139.95.....

GPU Block

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/11004/ex-blc-763/Bitspower_Black_Freezer_VG-NGTX480_GeForce_480_GTX_VGA_Liquid_Cooling_Block_-_Acetal_Top_w_Matte_Black_Panel_BP-VGNGTX480-MBK.html?tl=g30c311s1173&id=b4nJpZPU

$162.95 x 2 for SLI?

Rams block

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/9208/ex-blc-622/Koolance_RAM-33_Ram_Liquid_Block_-_Single_DDRDDR2DDR3SD_no_nozzles.html?tl=g30c225

$42.99

OK I'm well over $1000.00 and I have not touched the tubing, fittings-barbs, compression, splitters, one loop or two...more $$$

Now that's a custom water cooling solution.......  ;D

Hi Alain.

The cpu block is antiek the XT is its successor much better

Why in gods name you need a watercooled psu????(No need to buy this its a wast of money)

149 for a reservoir it must be gold plated ;D

Gpu block to expensive.

Koolance hase one of the best blocks for the 480GTX.(Temps 100% stressed and extreme overclocked 50°C).

The most expensive is not always the best in performance and quality ;)

Do you need a water cooled PSU....no.....do you want one ....yes....

Do you need a memory water cooler block.........no......do you want one.......yes...

It's the same about air cooling.......do I need the best air CPU cooler......no.....do I want one......yes.

Do you need the best PC's water cooling system money can buy....no.......do you want one.......yes....

Do you need Orbx to fly using FSX.....no.....do you want it........yes.....

Do I need a Ferrari.......no......do I want one.......yes......still I can do 140 Mph in my chrysler 300 C rated at 160 Mph.....scary.but i did it....(shuuut don't tell)....

No stink'n fish pumps in my PC !!!

j/k  ;D

That is a 220v pump, no ? Be careful that those tubes don't pop off your blocks with that pressure...  ;D (actually not kidding). And make sure you don't forget to turn it on, or that the switch works  ;). Btw, the water needs actually some time to cool in that radiator. If you have very restricting jets in the block it might make sense. But i still won't use 220v...

HAhha hah...no it's not ....scroll down the page and you will see what you need to make it work, it's a power converter or adapter to take the 110  from the wall and reduce the power between 12 and 24 volt.......the one you are talking about is made for a fire truck..........hahahah  j/k...... ;D
