Good news: K-series Sandy Bridge processors will have unlocked multipliers. Less good news: Intel will release the mid range CPUs first. High end will come later. Flying Monkey Posted August 29, 2010 Share Posted August 29, 2010 I'm waiting for the socket 2011 series, the next gen of 1366, which is probably what "enthusiasts"(that's what the high end is called now apparently) will want to look at. I was hoping to see them arriving mid year, but it looks like the wait will be longer. Maybe I shall make a minor update to a Q9650 to help wait.
