Arismac
This must be a memory problem but I don't know how to go about fixing. I have installed MultiCore Environment Advanced but it does not seem to be making any difference. I use FSX Go with "Tims Flying Profile" I have considered overclocking but got lost half way through the Spirit Flyers thread. Any suggestions would be most welcome. TenBlade
Open fsx.cfg, under [GRAPHICS] add the line HIGHMEMFIX=1 That ought to do it. Bjorn
Arismac
Thank you very, very much Bjorn. That has made the world of difference. It appears it is a "must" for Windows 7 64bit with high end memory.
Arismac
I am again spending a happy hour or so with a tinnie (Fosters of course) in hand watching the AI at an Orbx airport. A quick word of caution. There is a small program available called "FSL Texture Fix" which will amend the fsx.cfg. It works very well but take care if you use the "extra" tweaks. Not all worked for me. In fact my Britannia took off like a startled kangaroo when I first applied them.
