Tailgunner
For the past year I've run E6800 on driver 196.21. Next week I'm upgrading to Q9650. Can someone tell me which of the current drivers would be most suitable?
TenBlade
If it´s not broken, don´t fix it. Whenever nvidia gives you something new in a new driver, they take something away. I´ve rolled my driver back to the, I think 198-ish, I´m at my laptop right now, I can´t exactly remember which driver. But I´d think the gpu driver is more bound to which gpu you have than changing processor. I didn´t change gpu driver when I upgraded from E8600 to Q9650. Bjorn is right, CPU has nothing to do with the GPU driver..........just make sure you have the latest bios for your mobo before you install the new CPU....good luck with the new Quad core.
