Griphos Posted July 14, 2010 Share Posted July 14, 2010 Checked out the last OzX strips in NA, those in the NE corner of PNW. Now this is bush flying. They even modeled burned areas! Orbx has done a wonderful job of presenting this country. You can feel the nip in the air and smell the evergreens and alder brush. I swear, with my door and window open, I could feel the damp and sharpness! There was a guy ready to load up after a couple of weeks of camping at the lakes when I got there: We chatted for a while about the best fishing spots, and I helped him load up. This little strip is a challenge with a 90 degree crosswind at 10 knots like I had when I landed. Good thing the Cub can land so slow and short!
