Hi

I've been attempting to overclock my graphics card but i'm currently running into problems. can anyone help me with this, its my first time trying to do this.

I have a GTX 285 and using EVGA Precision to attampt the overclocking.

I managed to get the settings to:

Core Clock: 780

Shader Clock: 1788

Memory Clock: 1269

Fan Speed: 50

GPU Temp: 53c

The problem i'm having is when in flight the screen turns blank and I have to shut FSX down.  Are these settings high?

YES they are high, what's your default settings?

Start everything at default and raise only the core clock by 5 (keep the core clock syncronize with the shader clock) test it..... if everything is fine raise it by 5 and test it again until you start seeing artifact, if you see artifact lower lower the core clock by 5 until you don't see any artifact after that start the same process with memory clock....keep the fan speed at 70 > 80%.

I keep mine at 75%.

Good luck.
