Arismac
I am afraid one of my SSD's finally died. It will be replaced under warranty. When it went to the great digital junk yard it also took my BOOTMGR with it. This meant that rebooting from disks became a real problem as it is possible to get caught up in a down draft of "BOOTMGR is missing please press Ctrl+Alt+Del". I lumbered around the Internet for a few hours until I found THIS PAGE. Solved the problem in seconds. Don't be concerned that it refers to Vista because the instructions are basic DOS and should apply to all versions of Windows.
alainneedle1
That can also happen after a BSOD like it did with me because of an unstable overclock, using the jumper to reset the board to defaultĀ spec. does the trick.
