antonvs
Having just added the A2A P47 WOW3 with Accu-sim to my fleet, I took it for my first flight last night. WOW!!! Departed Coffs Harbour (YSCH), closed the cowl flaps, climbed up through 7000', set Turbo boost to 60% then took the elevator ride to FL300. This is an amazing rendition of what must have been an awesome plane. It's size make you think you are in a GA plane but with the feel of a 'Heavy'. I later took it on a VFR flight from Coffs to Armidale (YARM) via the impressive Point Lookout and just loved every minute. A2A have done such a great job with this plane. Patrick Scharnowski
Great shot and great plane! It's challenging, too. I still have problems with take offs and landings, because of the limited view to the front. TrackIR doesn't help that much either, with a huuuuge nose like that. Blitzer
TrackIR doesn't help that much either, with a huuuuge nose like that. Never realised you had a big nose mate. Besides I've seen the way you fly the P-47, by the time you have finished abusing your airplane it's normally safer for you to bail out than try and land! hehe. It is indeed a cracking aircraft though and I agree it is a beast when it comes to landing in particular. I think I'd go as far to say it's probably one of the most challenging aircraft to fly and land well in my hanger. Erm, I don't me fly and land in my hanger - you know what I mean!
