Adrian Lehmann (FSS) Posted May 29, 2010 Share Posted May 29, 2010 Often the download manager will come with a browser plugin that intercepts the download. Such is the case with the FlashGet plugin for Firefox which when prompted to Open, Save etc. provides another option to download using your chosen download manager. yallu Posted May 29, 2010 Author Share Posted May 29, 2010 Thank you. I used to use FlashGet, but it always felt a little "fishy". I thought FDM would automatically capture downloads just like FG, but alas, it don't. However, it was easy to enable from Settings | Monitoring. The required Google Plugins directory did not exist so I had to create it manually first. For W7: 1) Create Google Chrome Plugins directory (if not already there) %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\Plugins 2) Enable Monitoring for FDM Settings/Options | Monitoring | Google Chrome (I don't have english GUI so could be Settings or Options or ...)
