rbtjms
Hi Guys, I have bought a Qosmio x500 02G, Windows 7 operating system with a Nvidia G Force 250 something, just to run FSX. Without any rhyme or reason, or without any pattern at some time into the program the screen will go black and a blue screen will appear. It says it has tried to reset the drivers but has failed to recover from timeout, and displays NVDLLMKM.SYS After this the computor turns off and reboots. As yet I have not flown a plane successfully and that is my dream. Some of my friends have tried to help me to no avail. Can you help. Regard Robert. Blitzer
I think your first port of call would be to go to the Nvidia website and get the lastest drivers for your card.
rbtjms
thanks for your rapid reply. I have already tried this twice and with the instructions of others with the same problem.
tennyson
Don't forget that those laptops run 5400RPM drives. Probably can't keep the texture load up, is my guess. For the money you paid for it, I'd take it back and buy a good desktop that will whip the ass off that (or you could just spend another coupla hundred bucks and put an SSD in it). TenBlade
Try and reduce the sliders in the graphics setup and see if that helps. But solely for FSX purposes, Frank is right, desktop pc is better.
