marka Posted May 14, 2010 Share Posted May 14, 2010 Got myself 2 Intel 80GB SSD's as part of my new PC build. I just plugged everything in like I have done in the past with other PC builds and it powered up ok. Should I be doing any addtional config for the SSD's? Here's a few questions I have: 1. Enable AHCI mode? 2. Update any drivers? 3. Connecting SSD's to the standard SATA ports ok? The DVD is also connected to the standard SATA ports. tennyson Posted May 14, 2010 Share Posted May 14, 2010 Go to the Intel site and download the new firmware to enable trim. No enablinf, no drivers, I just installed and away I went.
