Having said that the field I found it just north west of YAMB it has two grass runways cross type a few hangers and a Piper cub near one hanger and a cessna near another. There is a sign on one building says training but no flight school name. There is a little office no name. The strip is near a river and surround by mountain range. Copy them into a Google Earth placemark with the right format and see which Placemark from the kmz that's in your OZx maps folder you're on top of. It sounds like Watt's Bridge YWSG. Mt Brisbane is about 2km E of it at an altitude of 2000' - use a very STOL aircraft! Better still, buy the Maroochydore-Brisbane-GoldCoast VTC - it's on that.
