active Install problem - verify files taking hours can’t install

Any help on this? Installed true earth scenarios via orbx central, files downloaded via central, extracted and shown as installed.

 

on running plane 11, warning appears that files are missing. Files shown missing in xplane 11 are in the explorer directories and advice is then to run verify.

 

on doing this in central it starts to verify but is incredibly slow - about a 1000 files verified in an hour. South scenery is 36000 files so would need to keep pc on for a day plus to verify all files.

 

not sure why it is so slow, not been successful to verify a scenery package yet, north, south or central. 
 

thought it might be norton security slowing it, so disabled but no difference.

 

currently sat with 3 great scenery packages, but can’t any to verify fully to run.

 

any advice welcome before I give up or my pc does!!
