ojdee Posted March 5, 2010 Share Posted March 5, 2010 Hello I am planning an upgrade to an i7 930 with 6GB DDR3. I know the general consensus is that FSX is more CPU dependent than GPU so I was wondering if I would be crippling this upgrade by keeping my 9800GT 1GB graphics card? In an ideal world this would be upgraded to a 2GB card but budget constraints etc... I'm planning to overclock the 930 to 4Ghz, I'd hope that the additional CPU/RAM grunt would give me a noticeable improvement, at least enough to tide me over until a GPU upgrade. What do you reckon?
