KSAN "ILS Y or LOC Y RWY 9" (I-SAN) issue

Recommended Posts

Hi

May seems to be some mismatch between P3Dv4.4 and a navaids(ILS) at KSAN, not sure where there might
be an issue, others seen same behavior ?

Location         : KSAN
Name             : San Diego intl
Approach        : ILS Y or LOC Y RWY 9 (I-SAN)

P3D seems to use         : 110.90 ( app crs 094 )
skyvector.com says       : 111.55 ( app crs 095 > approach-chart > “ILS Y or LOC Y RWY 9” )

To info:
- Win10/64b

- P3D v4.4

- Addons = Orbx South California (no addons airports in “South California “ area).

When I ran a "BGL" scan it seems ORBX addon scenery (ADE_FTX_KSAN) that has the highest priority
defines a wrong ILS frequency (110.90) for ILS 09 (ISAN). See below

ISAN KSAN 110,90 32,729788 -117,174114 QMID(9,67,81) ADE_FTX_SCA_KSAN.BGL 23/11/18 [170] -> ORBX (ILS 09)
ISAN KSAN 111,55 32,730217 -117,175885 QMID(9,67,81) APX16200.BGL 28/03/19 [22] -> Default "updated" file (ILS 09)

* We are to guys doing same approach (2 computer with almost same setup/addons) and we both

   has this mismatch between 110.90(working) and which I suppose should be the correct one > 111.55.

Please advise

Hi Experts,

After some more investigations, it seems to be an issue with file called "ADE_FTX_SCA_KSAN.BGL " from orbx, are there a way

to edit this file so it reflect correct hz on the loc, or will I break some legal stuff  ?

*  Would be nice to be able to change it from 110,90  to 111,55.

Please advise,

Hi Rick,

That was very strange to hear, but interesting to know..so something is for sure different..some where!

* so just to clarify, you say that in you file ADE_FTX_SCA_KSAN.BGL you have correct freq(111.55) right ?

  ( or may you have some addons airport/senery that correct/overwrite the on from orbx ? )

* As mention above we are actual two(2) that have exactly same issue. (have same "addons-packs" from Orbx).
