Compared to our last two take offs, you can see how shallow our climb profile is. We manage to stop before the end, but I can't help feeling it would have been better to land downwind but upslope... But here, in 1978, Ken Warby set the world waterspeed record of 317.6MPH in a jet powered boat, 'Spirit of Australia'.
