jankees
While looking for info on Dutch Air Force B-25's, I came across this one: N5-158 sported the Australian call sign VH-RDF, as did several other RNEIAF (Royal Netherlands East Indies Air Force) B-25's. These were stripped of their guns and used as transport aircraft between 1944 and the end of the war. N5-158/VH-RDF was based in Australia, but was damaged in an emergency landing at Dandenong on 3 may 1944, after which VH-RDF was appied to N5-143. The aircraft was repaired though, and was used in 1946 to fly General Spoor from Java to the Netherlands. In 1950 it was turned over to the Indonesian Air Force, where it flew until 1957. Anyway, just the B-25 to use over FTX Oz...
