gibo
Great pics Alan. I know you love this stuff and may have read these books.I have just read 2 books (for the second time) "Killer Caldwell" and "Nicky Barr". Both were Aussie who flew Tomahawks in the desert. They both loved the aircraft. Great reading. You would think that the Nicky Barr book was fiction with several times shot down and a few times taken prisoner and escaped and even helped comandos in Italy after his escape and he helped prosoners escape out of Italy as well. The story would make a great movie! He was a Wallaby player in England to play test matches when war broke out! Cheers, Norm
alan2
Thanks Gibo, when you read some of these books it makes me wonder how I would handle the situation. If you think of the short training periods some of these pilots had and then thrown into deadly situations where you have to be on the ball, well, its kind of scary.
