active LDDU - Shadow whilst taxiing

Hi,

 

I purchased and installed LDDU yesterday. On the taxi in last night and taxi out this morning, there was a constant shadow around my field of view no matter what way I turned. It disappeared once I entered the runway.

 

See attached screenshot. It was constantly like that when on the ground.

 

Any ideas how to fix would be appreciated.

Hi John,

 

I cannot reproduce the issue at my end so it's most likely a problem somewhere in your setup. A few things to try:

 

- Try different shadow settings in your P3D settings.

- Does it happen with other aircraft, or only on the A320?

- Does it only happen in cockpit view?

- Try moving the eyepoint outside the virtual cockpit, so that the VC glass isn't in the way, and check if it still happens then.

 

Also as a side note, please disable speed trees in your P3D settings, more often than not they're just a cause for many problems.
