FTX Global stuck on "Finding Files to Update", causing PC freeze

Hi,

Im trying to install FTX Global Base Pack. When I'm installing, either from a zip file or through FTX Central, it reaches "finding files to update (18250/18270)". When it gets there, my whole PC slowly grinds to a halt, and eventually freezes entirely. I then have no option but to press reset on my PC. 

 

I hope theres a fix out there
