FTX central 3 crashes after bying/downloading/installing FTX Global

Hi,

I've installed FTX Central 3 before bying FTX Global. -> NO issues.

After buying/downloading/installing FTX Global, the FTX Central 3 cannot be opened anymore:

[2017-01-21_08-36-22- 3.0.2.2] - System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Kan een gedeelte van het pad C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX-SE\scenery.cfg niet vinden.

The path C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX-SE\scenery.cfg cannot be found.

Is there a way to fix this? UNINSTALL of FTX Central 3 is not possible because not visible in configuration screen of windows 7 for deinstalling programs.

Thanks in advance.

Kr,

I've done the following:

1. search for  scenery.cfg: in my case C:\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX

2. copy the file to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX-SE\

It works now. I don't know if this is the right way to fix it, but it works for me.

Did you have the same error in the log  ftxc3.log  as me, because i had the error:

2017-01-21_08-36-22- 3.0.2.2] - System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Kan een gedeelte van het pad C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX-SE\scenery.cfg niet vinden.

(error in dutch) -> = cannot fine file C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX-SE\scenery.cfg

When I read your reply i suppose you don't receive an error (only hanging)?

I can only speak if you are using FSX steam

1. Do you have the following:

    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX-SE\

if not , create the directory

2. In file explorer, look for the file  scenery.cfg

In my case located in C:\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX

3. copy the file scenery.cfg in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX-SE\

Again, I can only speak when using FSX steam installed on C:\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX and also when receiving the error that the path C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX-SE\scenery.cfg cannot be found.
