flyguy737
Here is a freeware CT4 trainer you can get for fsx. It is a great little plane. you can get it from http://www.airforce.mil.nz/gallery/download/airtrainerdownload.htm Any chance our painters can do an RAAF like the Tammy boys for it? hope this helps
Adam
That freeware ct4 model is really bad. I know a guy a flyes australias only CT4-E model and he made his own config for that so it handels like the real thing.

Adam
there isnt a better one. They just used the extra 300 flight dynamics in this ct4. it's crap
Tom Anderson
Thanks for finding that one, it's a ripper! I agree about the ailerons being a bit too responsive, however you can easily just change which .air file it uses to cure that problem.

COBS
Has anyone tried the Piaggio 149 air file , performance wise they would be relatively close ? Cobs
Jones
i was going to try repaint this but in the read me file it said the files are not to be modified in any way , i contacted the guy that made it to get permission but didnt get a reply. COBS
I have installed the Piaggio P149D air file after backing up the original and renaming the P149D air file as was named in original CT4. (Piaggio P149D is freeware) Seems to work very well , reduces the F-16 like roll rate down to a more modest ,but still respectable one. If anyone tries this would you please post your impressions here on this thread. Cheers Karol
Jones
ive just tried it with the bulldog air file , the bulldog was posted up in the last week by someone cant remember there name, seems pretty good.
COBS
Cool , will try that one too . With the P149D one , just flew at about 20' towards YMML ATC tower , went to tower spot view , flew at full throttle towards myself pulling up slightly at the last moment and applied full aileron and held it for 2 rolls , spectacular view from the tower ,would make a great video , nice looking bird . PS. no problems to date with Piaggio P149D air file . Karol
alan2
Wonder if we can get a clear canopy for it.
deccas1391
I made 5 ADF paints for this CT4 (like the ones at Tamworth). Please note that these are my first ever repaints and the quality is not-so-good Should hopefully be up on Flightsim.com soon.
raymar99
I downloaded and installed the CT4, changed out the airfile with the Piaggio 149 and within one minute I was deleting it from my harddrive. I just can't figure out why all these hot shot aircraft designers think you have to look thru a dirty, milky, windshield if the plane is more than two weeks old. If I can't see the scenery, I don't fly it, if I don't fly it, in the can it goes. There you will find the CT4. RayM
