dmrich28
doesn't the CumulusX mess up the REX clouds however?? correct me if wrong.. I had it installed once and took off for some reason, thinking that was why Dave

Heiko Glatthorn
Don't know if it messes with REX clouds. Hmmm....
alan2
Ive just recently installed Cumulusx or whatever its called, but not the cloud bit. I found myself ,on testing in a Cessna, that I was hittng extra lift near ridges, BUT ..not sure if REX has this or what . Early days yet. However, haven't notice any ill effects with rex clouds with current settings. Time will tell. On first look I'd say go for it.
Heiko Glatthorn
I was reading that CumulusX clouds draw in front of all other, no matter what. So you can disable CumulusX cloud generation ? That would of course be handy. I am also very interested in the ridge lift made by the other program.
dmrich28
Mango, here's a test I did...first shot is with CumulusX running with all weather cleared, and the 2nd shot same spot with it blended with Orbx3 weather just as a comparison. I think it looks pretty good, he really fixed the clouds compared to the last time I used it and the slope program is also built in now.
