DAVIDF4
Hi, as anyone else noticed an issue with the field light effects at Rugen? This is for the blue edging lights as well as the PAPI lights. In the middle of the airfield (in the area near the tower) the lights look more or less ok, but as you move outward along the runway in either direction, the light glow effects of the lamps become increasingly more offset from the lamp objects themselves. A picture paints a 1000 words, so here's 3000 words of further explanation... EAST END OF RUNWAY: WEST END OF RUNWAY:
DAVIDF4
Perhaps it's something to do with the curve of the Earth issue mentioned here:http://www.scenerydesign.org/2011/08/effects-with-an-offset/ I'm not a scenery design expert though, but the idea of increasing effect displacement with increasing distance from a common reference point (possibly at the centre of the runway in this case), would seem to describe what I'm seeing. DAVIDF4
If anyone one has the chance to check this out and confirm or refute what I'm seeing, then that would be appreciated. Thank you, Dave.
