connor_f Posted June 5, 2016 Share Posted June 5, 2016 Hello I have recently downloaded ORBX's KTEX airport scenery but there are two issues: 1. Although I have the aircraft's throttle on 100% it doesn't use maximum throttle and i struggle to get the aircraft off the ground. 2. Jethro VH-JET Posted June 5, 2016 Share Posted June 5, 2016 Hi Connor, What type of aircraft are you flying out of KTEX, does it happen with all aircraft. Given that KTEX is a high altitude location (thin air environment), it might help to look at your gross fuel and passenger weights, make sure they are adjusted for the scenario. You could also adjust the mixture setting (slightly richer mix) and close those cowl flaps to bring the engine up to temperature, (if that is the type aircraft you are flying). I cannot answer your black texture issue as I have not purchased this airport yet. But I'm sure Jarrad will stop by very soon in answer to your questions.
