pchamney
I wasn't sure where to post this...I did a search but didn't find an answer. Perhaps I'm just too new to FSX and flying... Is a third party package required to use the GNS430? The manual states: "For the default provided Load Out you will require to purchase and install the following RXP products: • 530XP WAAS • Flight Line N" Do the GPS and gauges work out of the box on the Lancair IV-P? I noticed there is a Friendly Panels GPS Pack. Can that be loaded in, or is it necessary? Thanks in advance for your help.
Vora
The GNS 430 comes with the aircraft. You have the option to use the 3rd party GPS from RXP (which you have to select in the control panel).
pchamney
Thanks. I'll read through the manual on the use of the GNS 430. When I turned it on, the readout said license expires in 2007 or something so I wasn't sure.
