boe772ER
Ok so last week I finally got my new computer that can handle FSX. It has a Core i7 920 ( not OC'd yet got to get a cooler), GTX285 1GB Black Edition, 6GB Corsair, and a EVGA X58 LE mobo. FSX performs well on here it stuttered at first, but I fixed with the bufferpools tweak I found on here. However I also use FS9 (only for the PMDG 737 and scenery like LAX and SFO etc. ). My new system wrecks FS9 I get 50-60 fps even at large airports such as FsDreamteam JFK. But it stutters alot which is clearly noticeable when you are getting frames that high. I don't know how to fix this since FS9 doesnt support bufferpools. I didnt if yall would be able to help since pretty much everybody just uses FSX and not both like I do , but it was worth a shot Thanks for the help. alzone
Have you tried limiting the frame rates in the settings menu? 25FPS should do the trick! Al
boe772ER
Ya kind of I limited it to 30fps, but no luck wonder if 25 fps might work... I'll go try it. Regards, Dan
Heiko Glatthorn
As far as i remember you'll need a very high texture bandwidth multi for FS9. Try 400. And lock at 30 yeah.
