johnboy Posted July 17, 2009 Share Posted July 17, 2009 Hi All, I'm looking to upgrade my processor, at present I have an:- Athlon 64X2 6000+ 3.00ghz on a Gigabyte GA-MA69GM-52H motherboard Has anyone any recommendations? I've heard that quad core is not particularly good for FSX, what is the best processor I can fit to my current motherboard? I already have 4 gig of RAM and an Nvidia 9600gto 1 gig video card, but modern scenery is starting to cause me problems, so any advice would be gratefully accepted.
