Russell Linn Posted January 23, 2016 Share Posted January 23, 2016 Hi kdfw, When you say you're not seeing the texture size change, are you referring to the settings in your fsx.cfg? The control panel tool will not change any setting in your fsx.cfg file. Instead, it switches out the airport for a version that uses downscaled versions of the textures. kdfw Posted January 23, 2016 Author Share Posted January 23, 2016 Hi Russell, Thanks for the reply, i was simply looking at the texture sheet size in the 'texture' folder for kfhr. My understanding was that setting to low rez would convert the textures of the buildings, etc. to 1024^2. i was looking for a way to reduce memory footprint.
