Cloncurry to Darwin

The Dutch Government bought a number of P-51's in 1945 for use in the Dutch East Indies (Indonesia), and these were delivered in Bundaberg, Queensland, and then flown to Batavia (Jakarta) via Cloncurry, Darwin and Bali.

I recreated one of those Mustangs, and am currently on my way to Batavia. The first leg proved uneventful, apart from the fact that I ran out of fuel because I could not switch between tanks at first....but I arrived in Cloncurry at last.

I'm not sure I'll fly the rest of the trip, crossing the Timor Sea seems less interesting...
