htoonnyain Posted July 13, 2015 Share Posted July 13, 2015 Just installed my FTX Trees HD, and when I went to play, all my previous sceneries were wiped off, and my p.c. generally slowed down especially my flight sim X game, what can I do to rectify? ALF Posted July 13, 2015 Share Posted July 13, 2015 On the PC slowing down I can only tell you it is probably due to the higher resolution textures installed. Go to your FSX.cfg file and check under the [Graphics] section if you have 4096 for the textures. Change this down to 2048 or even 1024 and see what it does. Another thing you may try is just unchecking the HD trees options in FTX Central. HD trees is for low level flying with basic aircraft. High altitude flying with more complex and resource demanding aircraft and HD trees is of no use. I have disabled it for the most part. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
