So, the question remains will there be any products made for v6 or not? There are compatibility issues with using v5 products in v6 as stated by users in other forums. If someone associated with Orbx really knows, please let us know. Please, no opinions or wishful thinking responses. I think we've all heard enough of those. Thanks.

No workarounds or registry tweaks for me either. If Orbx ever makes a v6 installer then it will be my go-to sim since most, but not all, of my other addons from v5 work OK in v6. I have over 60 Orbx products and would very much like to be able to use them in v6. I'll probably give MSFS 2024 a try when it comes out, but for now I'm not going to buy MSFS 2020 only to have to buy a new sim next year.

When I open the Orbx OC it tells me there's a version of SODE available for download. It's version 1.7.1.0, which is an older version than 1.8.0, which I have installed. It works well with P3Dv5 and 6. Is there a reason why I'm being prompted to install the older SODE version? Thanks.

I don't see it. I'm really not planning to use P3Dv6 very much anyway until there are descent airliners available for the sim.

Well, for those of us who installed the Orbx libraries in the sim, as is recommended, I guess we'll have to wait for a P3Dv6 installer if it ever becomes available.

I'm having a new flight Sim Computer built which will have 2 completely separate boot drives. One will be for P3D, which I currently have, and the other for MSFS. So, right now with the one boot drive on my current machine, I see Prear3D v5 as my installed sim. With the new machine I will see MSFS as my installed sim when I switch boot drives. My question is, will my one account work with both sims on separate drives? Will there be any possible issues that I should be aware of? Thanks.

This is an old topic, but I just realized that CityScene Orlando is no longer in my list of products either. I also had it installed in P3Dv4, but can't find it anywhere on Orbx Direct or in my list of P3Dv5 products. I completely uninstalled P3Dv4 prior to installing P3Dv5, and there are no traces of it anywhere on my computer. All the other Orbx products I purchased for P3Dv4 show up in the "My Products" list in Orbx central for P3Dv5. I don't have true earth Florida. Is there a way to get the product back that I paid for? Thanks.

I'm not planning to keep v4.5, so if I simply delete v4.5 and then install v5.2 on the same drive, will my installed Orbx products recognize the new simulator, or will I need to uninstall/reinstall my numerous Orbx products? Thanks.

The recent KIDA update still has the runway numbers wrong. They should be 3 and 21, not 2 and 20 as is the case with this version. Thanks.

FSElite has a link to the Orbx Redeem a Key function. I can't find it anywhere on the Orbx direct website. When entering my original purchase key for MK Studios BIKF, the function doesn't work. How do I get the license transfer to work? Thanks.

Loss of a pet...

I definitely feel your loss. My wonderful cat died after 14 years of being my friend. Anybody who has never had a pet can never understand how painful this can be. I'm a volunteer at a local animal shelter which is great, but I still miss my little buddy and always will. Unfortunately, this comes with being a pet owner and we all have to deal with it sooner or later. I'm just glad I have numerous pics and videos I can look at.
