Yeah I hope so. I don't even know if someone had submitted a proper support ticket for these issues. But they're quite hard to miss so I would assume someone must have submitted some.

Hi John
So it was originally better than we see now? That's good to know as I really didn't think Orbx could have developed it as is. Hopefully, then (the) developer will fix and there will be an update sooner rather than later.
I don't remember about the taxiway signage and bumps but the jetways and ground markings have always been that way.

I imagine the dev has to try and work out why a change in MSFS has caused the otherwise working scenery to be broken, and then figure out a fix that won't break other things, then have the fix tested, then arrange for an update to be pushed out.
I realise obviously that nothing is that simple. Yet still I am trying to find out if anything is at least being worked on or not.

Personally I don't think GSX will have a solution anyway until they implement more intricate custom jetways. As far as I am aware they are constrained by the default animation capabilities.
But I can't find any reason why the floating taxiway signage has not been fixed yet. Or the 1-2m high random bumps between the taxiways.

I would just like to remind that the main point I was getting at in this thread was not performance, that discussion I believe has its own thread. The main thing I was trying to point out here is the extremely obvious visual bugs with this scenery.
-
Thank you John for the response. Do you know anything about the visual bugs and issues?
-
Yeah well that's a different issue entirely. My FPS isn't low I just get stutters. Neither YPAD or YSSY do that and they look better too. I am not sure what happened with this airport. Still though I am looking for comment from either staff or a developer on the future of this airport. The current state is not to the level I would expect from Orbx for the price asked. And that is putting performance aside and looking at the visual bugs. Factor in performance and my opinion drops further!

What are the current plans for this scenery going forwards? Are there any large patches being worked on?

All I can do is echo this comments. Had I paid full price I would have been even more underwhelmed. The upgrade pricing was what softened the blow here, it's a good update to the default, but it just isn't what I expected which is a real shame.
I really hope you can come back, take a good look at the issues/improvements that can be made that were suggested above and fix this airport.

It really is the small things that make this scenery fall apart for me. Ground markings, jetways and things that are simply still out of date. A real shame. Had I paid full price for this it would be hurting a lot more.
If Orbx decide to bring YMML to MFS I hope to see substantial improvements because this rendition of YBBN simply leaves more to be desired and a lot left on the table when compared to the quality of other airports.

Phenomenal doesn't even begin to do this scenery justice - amazing work!

Interesting observation. I've been testing all the aircraft and I'm finding the modelling is incredibly good for default planes. There are things that don't work in some of them sure, but the flight models and the look and feel in the cockpit is pretty damn good. I put the C172 on a par with the X Plane 11 model which is pretty darn good.
Yeah I agree. I wasn't super specific but was referring more towards stuff like the NG3. Needless to say, my FSEconomy flights are bliss in MFS.

Oh man that's awesome, once this sim gets some good aircraft - dam!

Yeah I have. It's a really great scenery on all fronts. Performance and visuals. I agree too, jetway models are great but they're just the default type still.
