  1. I strongly recommend not to micromanage the scenery order. This is completely unnessessary and just causes additional work. Make sure that all mesh sceneries are placed at the bottom of the file (in the right order if you have different meshes for the same location of course) and below global airports. All custom airports have to be above global airports and libraries can be irgnored for most part - if this is all true, most of the stuff will be fine.

  2. Well... that sounds like a somehow broken scenery order.

if global airports is above the orbx ones it just wont show up

What does not show up? TrueEarth or the global airports? If TrueEarth does not show up you will very likely have some other mesh sceneries placed on top of it - make sure that TrueEarth is above ALL mesh sceneries and below global airports.

Hi, flown a few places around in True Earth GB so far and mostly 50-60fps with the settings you recommend, however London is very hard on the frames, around 20fps. Is that normal or would I have to lower my sliders? I have a top end PC and haven’t had to lower anything before.

London is harder than other loacations but with high end hardware you can get better results if you set up your graphics options a more usefull way. Startding with JV's settings, you could disable scenery shadows (they have a noticable impact on performance) and remove the parked aircraft (those can have a heavy impact depending on airport).

I have a very dated machine and can achive about 60 FPS at London with some tweaking (for that task I use my self coded lua utility). However, 60 FPS at London lead to reduced visuals, my Auto-LOD function is at it's lower limit here and I have a reduced objects visibility range.
