    Weird Problem with EGNT in P3D v5.

    Hi Nick and John,

     

    While struggling with this problem I've uninstalled EGNT and had Orbx Central reinstall it several times, all to no avail.  This morning I remembered a collection of old UK2000 airports which still work in P3D5.  Finding one of them is EGNT, I installed it.  It does look good!

     

    For some reason which escapes me (loyalty to Orbx perhaps?) I uninstalled it, and once again went to Orbx Central.  This time, for no other reason except despair, I had Orbx Central run as administrator.  OBC then installed EGNT, found fault with two files as always, and verified files ok.

     

    I opened P3D5, loaded a flight at EGNT, and lo and behold, I have my old and favourite airport back!

    Hi,

    I apologise for posting this here after posting in the wrong forum, and unable to raise a support ticket.

     

    I have lots of Orbx products working trouble free for a very long time, including EGNT.  Recently I returned there to find the place had changed.  The main building was there but blank with a dead look, some other buildings, but no lights, no ground vehicles, a host of Gates available which were never listed before. The airport just looks dead.

    I've uninstalled, reinstalled, verified files, synced simulator, all to no avail.  I've compared my new version with a backup, and as far as I can see the files are exactly the same.  I'm really upset because Newcastle is the base I fly from and so visit most often.  I just want the familiar version back.  If anyone can help I'll be very grateful.

    Help with Order of Installation?

    Hi,

    I'm a long time user of Orbx products, but now I'm at a loss.  I've updated  my P3D installation to the latest hotfix, and find my scenery suddenly completely blurry.

    I've followed Nick's instructions in doing the update, and as of now, I've resorted to uninstalling all my Orbx products relating to where I normally fly, which is in Europe.

     

    I can now fly over perfectly sharp scenery, obviously quite basic.

     

    Could someone be kind enough to give me a list, in chronological order, for reinstalling my European Orbx products, from "Base" onwards?

    I have all the Regions and True Earth products, and am afraid of messing up from where I now find myself.

     

    I apologise for my helplessness.  I'm not as young as I once was.  :-)
